Our English language school offers English courses for children in the following age groups:

I. Preschoolers – Pandas Courses – classes are held twice a week for 30 minutes. During classes, children work together with a mentor on the carpet, performing a series of specific activities that invite learning English in a natural and varied way. During classes, preschool children: learn full sentence structures, sing songs, say rhymes, perform a series of tasks aimed at memorizing, consolidating and practicing specific grammatical and lexical elements. Classes for preschool children are built in such a way that children's attention is focused on the activities being performed. Our preschoolers work based on our own educational materials, which consist of: 

• books about Panda
• picture cards
• word cards
• shadow cards
• worksheets performed for the department summary. 

Parents receive a monthly summary of each section, which allows for the consolidation of vocabulary, structures, songs and rhymes – if the child expresses such a desire. Additionally, it is possible to purchase each book that is used during classes – which is an excellent complement to repeating and consolidating content and embedding new skills. When creating courses that are built on stories, we were guided by the idea promoted by the Polish Foundation - All of Poland Reads to Children. And consequently - using English also to introduce it into everyday family rituals. Our Pandas courses also contribute to the creation of family bonds -  because children and parents spend time together following the story, thanks to which they give each other what is most precious, which is time together.

I. Grades 1-3 – Grizzly Cubs courses – these are classes designed for children of younger school age, i.e. from 7 to 10 years old. Classes are held twice a week for 60 minutes. Lessons are conducted based on a 5-step scheme of memorizing knowledge and skills. The subsequent steps that are implemented in classes in a monthly cycle are responsible for:

• providing – that is, presenting new grammatical and lexical content so that children and young people have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the new problem that they are facing. During the classes, the mentors show the children new words, introduce new sentences, and invite them to show and remember new information.
• coding – these are activities aimed at memorizing the presented content, so that a representation of this information is created in the minds. This step is closely related to the function of our brain – which is called “MAPPING”, i.e. embedding specific content in such a way that a person is able to literally (and figuratively) reach for a specific drawer, where the given knowledge is hidden and use it when needed.
• consolidation – during classes that fulfill this function, there are lessons whose main goal is to invite children and young people to actively use the knowledge and skills they have acquired. These are classes when children use the knowledge and skills they have acquired.
• decoding – these are classes during which children use the knowledge and skills they have acquired in a free manner. The mentor asks questions and the children answer using full sentences. The children fully understand what they are saying and are able to choose from a multitude of sentences those that are appropriate to a given question.

III. Grades 4-6 – Grizzly Youngsters courses – these are classes designed for younger youth. The lessons are filled with a variety of activities and tasks. Our youth work by learning in motion. The energy of Dynamic English is constantly used during lessons with younger youth, because our body remembers best. And so during lessons:

• we say
• we write
• we read
• we are listening
• we carry out projects
• we dance
• we play board games using vocabulary
• we immerse ourselves in the relationship
• we build language competences by developing internal motivation

Our Grizzly Youngsters classes are classes during which young people acquire new grammatical and lexical skills almost by accident, not knowing that they are learning so much during classes. Additionally, during each language class we tame emotions and work using the energy of group processes. Thanks to this, we take care of a safe space in which our young people work. A mistake is not stigmatized, but accepted - and this to a large extent translates into increased motivation and willingness to continue working.

IV. Grades 7 and above – Polars courses – during English language courses for young people, we work on the wave of previous years of work and enthusiasm. Yes! Our young people show enthusiasm related to further acquisition of knowledge in English. Subsequent years of study are building language competences and expanding them so that the skills of our young people grow in a natural and harmonious way. We see that our young people (i.e. children who grew up with us - starting with Pandas courses) are ready for further language development - because they want to. Our young people are preparing for state exams FCE and CAE. And for exams funded by the education system, our students are ready two years in advance. Our secret of working with young people is acceptance, seeing people in themselves and creating a space to be taken into account. For us - the only language school on the market - it is not grades that are most important, but people and their progress. Progress measured by skills, not grades.

That is why our young people achieve such a level of skills, and even when they stop attending classes, their language development continues – through independent improvement and self-development.
