Pictures in Action

More than flashcards! Practical ideas for English in kindergarten and grades 1-3

About the Training

"Pictures in Action" is a practical training for preschool and early school teachers who teach English and want to introduce more movement, emotion and communication into their classes.

During the meeting, I will show you how to use ordinary pictures (e.g. flashcards or illustrations) in an extraordinary way – so that children they wanted to speak English, played with the language and actively participated in the lesson.

The training is full of specific ideas that can be implemented “right away”, regardless of the textbook or group level.

You will learn to use pictures not only to present words, but as a tool to build communication.
You'll learn proven activities that get kids talking – even the shy ones!
You will receive ready-made ideas for scenes, games and exercises that you can use immediately after the training.
You will learn how to combine images, movement and emotions to make language learning natural and enjoyable.
You will gain a new perspective on so-called "flashcards" - as a tool for working with the body, voice and space.
You will find that even simple materials can change the dynamics of classes and increase children's engagement.
You will receive support and inspiration – because the training is conducted by a person who teaches children herself and knows the realities of working in pre-school and early school groups.

🎈 You will see how to use pictures to support the development of speech and thinking in English – at the child's natural pace.
🤝 You will learn how to use pictures to build relationships in a group – through team games, role-play and cooperation.
🧠 You'll learn how to engage children at different rates of development – including students who struggle with concentration or language processing.
🧡 You'll get tools to help children express their emotions, needs, and intentions – even if they only know a few words of English.
🎨 You'll find ideas that you can easily adapt to your students - without having to create complicated materials.

Imagine that you enter the room with a few simple pictures in your hand. The children immediately raise their heads, look curiously – “What are we going to do today?”. Instead of the traditional “repeat after me”, you offer them fun, movement, mini-scenes and joint creation of stories.

Even babies who were previously quiet are starting to speak up.
Those who were fidgeting suddenly get involved in the task. The children laugh, pass around roles, invent dialogues and – most importantly – they speak English, because they want to, not because they have to.

This course won't give you a "magic set of cards". It will give you something better: a new perspective on what you can do with a group's image, voice and energy. This will make your classes a space for authentic communication – even in a group that only knows a few words.
